We decided to put The Story of Edgar Sawtell off until April or even May (plus it is very long!) So- next month we will read portions of, and talk about, "The Ladies of Liberty" and/or "Team of Rivals" . THEN we need to choose a few more books: at least two: one suggestion: "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. We also have a long list of book hope-fulls - take a look! We are at Kathy & Genella's next month!

December 2008

The next three month's selections have been made:
Jan. 09 (Deb)- "March" by Geraldine Brooks

Feb. 09 (Pam) - Select one or a combo:

"Left to Tell: Discovering God amidst the Rwandan Holocaust" by Immaculee Ilibagiza

"A Long Way Gone:Memoirs of a Boy Soldier" by Ishmael Beah

"The House on Sugar Beach" by Helene Cooper

Watch Movie: " Lost Boys"

March 09 (Genella) - The Story of Edgar Sawtell by David Wrolbwski

Don't forget our on-going discussion books!

Dec 08-March 09 selections

We decided at the Nov. meeting to have December be "Book Report" month.
